Il y a trois élèves : X, Y et Z. Un enseignant sélectionne un élève chaque jour, lundi et mardi, pour réciter un poème. La sélection se fait sans remise, ce qui signifie qu'un même élève ne peut pas être choisi deux jours de suite. Le tableau ci-dessous montre les sélections possibles pour les deux jours.
